The All-Important Number 9

The magic number for Mobile Baccarat is 9, and this is the highest possible total either the Player or the Banker hand can accrue. Double-digit totals aren’t possible, so when your score exceeds 9, you will remove the left-hand digit: 18 thus becomes 8.

• Aces are worth 1 point each
• Royal cards and 10s are 0
• The cards from 2 through to 9 are given their face value

Mobile Baccarat for Canadian Players

While the rules governing the mobile Baccarat game you select may have some slight variations, there are some more general ones that decide how the game unfolds which it would serve you to understand:

• Mobile Baccarat is played with a single deck of 52 cards
• You will have a choice of 3 bets to choose from: the Player, the Banker, or a Tie
• If the outcome is a tie, but you didn’t bet on it, you will get your stake back
• A win on the Tie bet pays out at 8:1
• Bets on the Banker winning or the Player winning pay out at 1:1, but there is a 5% commission deducted from the payout on the former
• The Player hand is dealt to first, and if the total for this hand is 5 or less, another card will be dealt
• If the Player Stands and the Banker has a hand that is 5 or less, the Banker hand will be dealt another card. If the Banker hand total is 8 or 9, it will Stand
